I Have to Bug Out – What Do I Load Up to Go in 10 Minutes?

Getting away to a place of safety during a cataclysmic event is sometimes a necessity – what can you load up and be gone in 10 minutes with and survive?

Now this is a bit of a puzzle till I sat down and thought about it.

What do you actually need? We need water, food, shelter and warmth.

Ok let’s get to it shall we?

Water – have a gallon jug in the trunk of the car all the time.water

Food – I recommend a Valley Food Storage One Month Food, Water & Fire Supply (120 Servings) – $179valley-food-storage

Warmth – Sleeping Bag – You have to stay warm and a good sleeping bag is another necessary item a great bag is: A comfortable and practical bedding arrangement is a good quality sleeping bag good to 5+F/-15C degrees Everest Mummy +5F/-15C Degree Sleeping Bag – (Amazon- $36)sleeping-bag

Shelter – Your vehicle if you can recline the seats or a decent tent.

You have to stay dry and warm and a tent or tarp can provide that dry place to sleep. A small light weight tent can be bought inexpensively but I advise you to not skimp here and get a two person dome tent a quality tent under $100 is quite possible at any sporting goods store or if you’re a budget shopper an Ozark 2-person dome tent (Amazon – $40) 4-man-dome-tent

That’s about everything you need per person if you have to make a mad dash to safety.

I do consider all of the ideas you have introduced for your post.
They’re very convincing and can definitely work. Still, the posts are very brief for
novices. Could you please extend them a bit from next time?

    Thank you for the post.
