I’m of the paranoid kind some might say, raised in my formative years in the hills of western North Carolina and in the swamps of coastal western Florida hunting snakes, gigging frogs and Flounder for cookouts while camping, it’s these two locations that taught me how to not only survive but live and adapt in the wild. When the draft came about in those days the smart young fellas went down and enlisted instead of getting drafted into the Marine Corp and becoming cannon fodder in the jungles of Vietnam. I was one of those fellas and went into this man’s Army at age of 18. Through the training at various Forts like Benning, Lewis, Sherman and Bragg I honed my skills at living in harsh conditions, catching, cleaning, cooking then eating things that would make a Billy goat puke. Yep, these relevant tidbits of knowledge I intend to share with you and through this sharing it may even keep you alive when bad times come. Great idea! Everyone should plan out their bug out location, and camp there before the SHTF so you know what you’re getting yourself into
