Dead and Dying Before it’s Time

I have received distressing news from all corners of the globe over the past couple years about friends and relatives who passed away or on the brink of death way earlier than their lives should end.

It seems as if people I know are dying a full decade or more than their parents did. Cancer is the prevalent culprit, heart attack and other related health issues.

When you get past 60 years of age you naturally wonder how much time you have let on this big blue planet.

According to statistics the average lifespan information men are:

  • White males – 75.4 years
  • Black males – 69.2 years
  • White females – 80.5 years
  • Black females – 76.1 years

If that statistic is true I could live a dozen more years which of course would suit me just fine if my health and mobility cooperates.

The trouble with aging all the negative contributions you did as you aged catches up to you and in latter age you begin to show signs of those early damages such as smoking, drinking, physical sports where you may have traumatic brain injury or joint problems and of course heredity issues.

With all the advancements in medical technology when it’s your time if not diagnosed early it’s a sure sign you’re a goner.

Getting tested and a diagnosis for some malady you didn’t know you had is smart and then do every preventative measure you can to keep the issues at bay.

Getting old should be easy and relaxing not painful riding a bed but on a Harley.
